NRA Sucks | National Rifle Association Sucks

NRA ads attacking President Obama was unjustified and seemed motivated by hate.  They did everything possible to trash and defeat President Obama. President Obama has not passed any restrictive gun laws, but that didn’t matter to the NRA and Wayne LaPierre.

It’s reported that the National Rifle Association (NRA) executive vice president Wayne LaPierre, said President Barack Obama’s decision not to pursue gun control legislation is a “massive conspiracy” and just another reason not to give him a second term.

“[The Obama campaign] will say gun owners — they’ll say they left them alone,” LaPierre told an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Friday. “In public, he’ll remind us that he’s put off calls from his party to renew the Clinton [assault weapons] ban, he hasn’t pushed for new gun control laws… The president will offer the Second Amendment lip service and hit the campaign trail saying he’s actually been good for the Second Amendment.”

“But it’s a big fat stinking lie!” the NRA leader exclaimed. “It’s all part of a massive Obama conspiracy to deceive voters and destroy the Second Amendment in our country.

I saw on the news a few months ago that someone from the National Rifle Association (NRA) said “President Obama should “enforce the gun laws we have and not pass new ones”… Well that’s exactly what President Obama has been doing.

Ted Nugent declared “‘I Will Either Be Dead or in Jail if Obama Is Re-elected”.

WTF has Obama ever done to YOU TED?

Until I heard these type of comments from members of the NRA, I used to like the NRA and Ted Nugent.  But after these type of radical comments, I think they SUCK.

It seems that Republicans HATE for President Obama has no bounds or reason.

I will NEVER forget the attack ads the NRA and other Republican HATE groups ran against Obama and I will despise them for the rest of my life.

The NRA said NOTHING, about the Anti-Democratic Voter suppression laws Republicans passed in states they control like Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. They said NOTHING about laws Republicans passed against women’s rights.  Apparently those type of repressive laws are OK, fine with the NRA, because they endorsed Republicans who support those type of repressive laws.

Here’s a good article article about the National Rifle Association (NRA) called Snake Oil Peddlers of the NRA

Mitt Romney is one of the biggest LAIRS and flip flopper ever to run for President and the NRA did everything possible to get him elected.  http://www.politifact.com/personalities/mitt-romney/statements/byruling/false/  Goes to show what kind of outfit the NRA REALLY is.

.

The shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in which 20 children were massacred with a semi-automatic weapon demonstrates the need for legislation restricting such weapons.

When the 2nd amendment was written, muskets were the “arms” the writers of the constitution were referring to, not semi-automatic rifles with a hundred rounds of ammunition.

86 Percent of Americans support background checks on people purchasing guns but the NRA is doing everything possible to thwart the will of the American people.  The NRA don’t give a DAM what the American people wants.

The NRA use intimidation tactics to make Republican Politicians do what they want as reported in the book “How the NRA Terrorizes Congress”.

I am sick and tired of special interest groups controlling congress.

Congress is supposed to serve the American people, not the NRA.

GUNS RUIN LIVES

Gun advocates love to claim guns save lives and are necessary for self protection. Here’s just a few examples of how guns ruined lives and how if the shooters didn’t have a gun, none of these events would have happened…

The most notable examples above of killings which could have been avoided are the Pennsylvania road-rage killing and Killing teen over loud music. These were rage and out-of-control temper cases. If the shooters hadn’t had a gun these events wouldn’t have happened.  Their having a gun caused their lives & their families, the people they shot and their families to be destroyed.

I’m not against having a gun for self protection, but as shown in the above examples, not everyone is emotionally stable enough to own deadly weapons. People have to get a license to drive a car… they also should be required to pass some kind of tests to own a gun.

Also, military grade weapons which can rapid fire over 10 rounds of ammo should not be allowed to be owned by Average Joe citizens.
